Shawnessy Vietnamese Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings
My son is craving for Vietnamese fried rice and calamari, and this place did not disappoint, we ordered their special fried ride and they are really good, the calamari was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. I ordered their special fried Bon Bu Hue and the broth is also good but it was less meat compared to the others I went to that are close by. The place is a bit dated but clean. Other than that We had a good first time experience and we also liked the service we received.
I haven't been to the restaurant in a few years and was looking forward to going today. Everything was even better than I remember! $16.50 Lunch special beef Pho was fantastic with the shrimp salad rolls and I was served food within 10 mins of ordering. The staff was very friendly so overall, a wonderful expirience. If you're a Vietnamese food lover, you have to check it out!!!
Our first and definitely not last time to eat here. My wife and I stopped for lunch as we have wanted to try the food here. It was a great choice, I cannot believe we’ve never stopped here before. Service was perfect and our large bowls of chicken & spring roll with rice vermicelli was served with a delicious sauce. It was all we could do to finish but couldn’t quit eating as it was so tasty. Looking forward to our next stop there.
I don’t know if they kidnapped viet grandma back, but the broth is next level now compared to a few years ago. And ive tried all the local viet place.
Such a cute little place to come by if you’re ever in the Deep South . They have a beautiful extra large fish tank with exotic fish that will definitely capture the children’s attention. The ambiance is cute and cosy as well as very clean. Foods is exceptionally tasty with many levels of flavours you must try number 13 sauté beef with extra spring roll, Definitely has a kick to it was so much flavour. The prices are fantastic if you need a little night out with a family or just a quick bite try their sautéed beef subs as well. Great Job!
Come here every 2 weeks, they are amazing. Love the food everytime I eat here. They remembered my order after my first visit and I keep coming back!
Wonderfully ambience, happy pleasant staff. Beautiful decor. Booths or table seating. Very nice Vietnamese cuisine. Easy access, plenty of parking. Beautiful fish tank display with cultural charm.
